A Charlie Brown Christmas

I love Christmas. All things Christmas.

Especially the holiday tv classics only whipped out during Christmastime. In a time of instant gratification there’s something soothing and pure about things predictable and rare.

That said, I’m also a sucker for favorite movies. The kind that never get old. Like Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Jaws, Aliens, Signs, Die Hard, ad nauseam. Just great movies with awesome acting and unforgettable scenes.

When in a funk I binge watch comforting shows like Andy Griffith or Young Sheldon, things I’ve taped( dvr’d) ahead of time for just such known will be in a funk occasions.

Every Christmas, it never fails, I manage to tape A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (yippee)!

but NEVER A Charlie Brown Christmas (boo)!

I always delete them in January or February because it ruins it if they are available year round.

My point is, I’m trying to find where I can DVR A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Just a girl lost in some ways, found in others. Writing my thoughts, ideas, dreams, realities, pieces of me ~ not all pretty~ definitely real ~ I'm a mother with faith in God's divine providence. Belief that my mistakes and selfishness and chaotic past are a jumbled tapestry that in the end will be woven heavenly. That all is never what it seems. That good will always claim victory and there is a plan beyond what human eyes and our fallen natures can see. My three children are my miracles, my life, my blessings. They inspire me to be a better woman and human being. I hope that you and I share and learn from each other in the beauty and reality of life on this ever evolving journey. xo ~ This is a place without masks ~ without broken glass paths ~ This is a place to be free To be the me He created me to be ~ Just a girl lost XxX
