Just a girl lost in some ways, found in others. Writing my thoughts, ideas, dreams, realities, pieces of me... not all pretty~ definitely real. I'm a mother with faith in God's divine providence that my mistakes and selfishness, my immaturity and past are all part of a journey. That all is never what it seems. That good will always claim victory and there is a plan beyond what human eyes and our fallen natures can see. My three children are my miracles, my life, my blessing and they inspire me to be a better woman and human being. I hope that you and I share and learn from each other in the beauty and reality of life on this ever evolving journey. xo ~ This is a place without masks~ without broken glass paths ~ This is a place to be free To be me~Just a girl lost XxX

  1. The “what am I in the eyes of most people?” is one of my all time favourite quotes. I identify with it in a big way

    • It is something we all wonder, isn’t it? I never realized that van Gogh felt that way. He was as human as the rest of us it seems.

      • Oh, he was a glorious human. The real Van Gogh isn’t in the myths of sliced ears or suicidal sunflowers; it’s in his letters to his brother Theo. Read those and you quickly realise how much he felt and – more importantly – how much he wanted us to feel as well.

      • Oh my gosh, thank you! I didn’t know about the letters to his brother! I will read them. I had no clue Van Gogh was so spiritual either. I can’t wait to start reading. Thank you, J! 🙏🏻😊💕

  2. It is said that sickness
    Can carry you
    to far and exotic places

    I hear Van Gogh’s locomotive
Thundering as it whips through the station
    Without stopping

    And I realize
    there is nothing in sickness
    That any one of us
    might not own
    Under the right circumstances

  3. I’ve always found it interesting the way people have a need to judge others, yet have such difficulty looking in the mirror and judging the person they see.
Maybe this post will help all of us reflect on this point.
    Thank you for sharing.
